the beauty of disclaimers

was aimlessly (in true sense of the word) surfing when i stumbled upon the nokia site. with more aimless surfing, i came across the 5410 page. this is what caught my attention:

(as one of the phone's selling point)
Durability
Xpress-on shells that provide protection against splashes and dust
Inner module resists splashes and dust when shells and keymat are in place

(then in small prints at the bottom)
Phone is not waterproof. Please read the User's Guide for more information.

so what is the phone "splash" proof from? saliva? the beauty of disclaimers indeed.
